Speaker: Rob Davis
Speaker Bio: Rob Davis is the founder of Critical Start and has over 20 years of experience in information security. He previously worked for 14 years in various roles at RSA, the Security Division of EMC. During his tenure at RSA Security, his positions included Vice President of Worldwide Systems Engineering, Area Vice President of Sales, Systems Engineering Manager, and PKI Evangelist. He also had consulting positions at Lucent Technologies and Deloitte and Touché evaluating and deploying network and Internet security products.
Rob is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). He attended Texas A&M as a President’s Endowed and National Merit Scholar while obtaining a degree in Electrical Engineering. After graduating from Texas A&M, he spent 5 years as an officer on the USS Jacksonville (SSN-699) fast attack nuclear submarine. After the Navy, he was a Sord Scholar Graduate at the University of Texas McCombs School of Business while obtaining his MBA. Rob is also the creator of the Threat Analytics Search extension, freely available for Google Chrome and used by hundreds of companies around the world.
