Honor Roll is a lifetime achievement award recognizing an individual's sustained contributions to the information security community, the advancement of the association and enhancement of the professionalism of the membership.
Nominations may be made by any member in good standing.
Members may not self-nominate or mutually cross-nominate
Current members of the International Board of Directors may not nominate other current Board members
Current members of the Chapter Board of Directors may not nominate other current chapter Board members.
The Awards Committee may also nominate additional qualified candidates
Timely posthumous nominations are encouraged within three (3) years of the nominee's passing.
Any current members of the International Board of Directors or Awards Committee associated with any nominee must recuse themselves for the review process for the candidate.
Each nominator is limited to one Honor Roll Award nomination.
Nominees are evaluated by criteria as outlined in the Nomination Form.
To be Considered:
Must be a member in good standing at the time of the nomination.
Nominees must have a minimum of ten (10) years as an information systems practitioner.
Have a minimum of seven (7) years of ISSA membership.
Have demonstrated sustained contributions to the information security community, the chapter and the chapter’s membership.
Demonstrated leadership within the chapter and at the local or national level.
Be recognized within the security community as a contributor and leader beyond the local chapter level.
Nominations must be made an ISSA member in good standing.
Honoree Receives:
An award to display in their office or home.
A North Texas ISSA Honor Roll magnetic lapel pin.
An invitation to receive their award at a public ceremony.
Listing on the chapter’s website.
North Texas ISSA Honor Roll digital credential (e.g., badge) for their personal use.
The nominees and eventual winner of the North Texas ISSA ISSA Honor Roll Award will be forwarded for consideration in the ISSA International Honor Roll Award.
