Awards nomination window 

08/01/2024 to 10/07/2024

Candidate organizations must have a sustained, proactive presence that directly contributed to the overall good and professionalism of the information security community, providing either services, products and/or direct support that ensures the promotion of the highest ethical standards in addressing information security and its future direction.

The Chapter does not intend to limit or restrict nominations to large corporate entities, government agencies, consulting firms, current vendors, or sponsors nor to those individual entities making significant cash contributions to the Chapter. Instead the Chapter wishes to recognize those who truly distinguish themselves within the community as a whole and are deserving of this recognition.

Nominations may be made by any member in good standing.

• The Awards Committee may also nominate additional qualified candidates

• Any current members of the International Board of Directors or Awards Committee associated with any nominee must recuse themselves for the review process for the candidate.

• Each nominator is limited to one Organization of the Year nomination.

• Nominees are evaluated by criteria as outlined in the Nomination Form.

To be Considered:

• Organizations must demonstrate that they truly distinguish themselves within the information or cyber security community as a whole and are deserving of this recognition.

• The organization should be widely recognized for their contribution to advancement of information or cyber security.

• The organization must represent the highest levels of professionalism and represent a significant level of unique advancement in research or technology. 

• Local and state diversity in nominations is encouraged.

Honoree Receives:

• An award to display in their office or home.

• An invitation to receive their award at a public ceremony.

• Listing on the chapter’s website.

• North Texas ISSA Organization of the Year digital credential (e.g., badge) for their use.

• The nominees and eventual winner of the North Texas ISSA Organization of the Year Award will be forwarded for consideration in the ISSA International Organization of the Year Award.
